Editorial Policy

ReelMasala publishes movie and TV guides for viewers in the United States. This page explains who writes our content, how we research it, and how we keep it accurate and independent.
Who writes our content
Articles are researched, written and edited by the ReelsMasala Editorial team: a small group of film and TV enthusiasts who watch widely across Hollywood, Indian cinema, Korean drama and anime. Articles carry a team byline rather than invented personal profiles.
How we research
- Titles, dates, cast and runtimes come from The Movie Database (TMDB). Where it matters, we cross-check them against official studio, network or platform pages.
- Where-to-watch information uses US availability data supplied through TMDB in partnership with JustWatch, checked at the time of writing. Streaming catalogs change often, so we date our guides and encourage you to confirm on the provider's site.
- Upcoming release dates are described as scheduled dates. Studios move them often, and we update articles when that happens.
- Awards and historical facts are checked against primary sources such as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
- We do not invent quotes, box-office figures or statistics. Opinions are clearly presented as our editorial view.
Legal viewing only
We only recommend licensed services: subscription, ad-supported, rental, purchase, library services and theaters. We never link to piracy, illegal streams or unauthorized downloads.
Independence and advertising
ReelMasala is supported by clearly labelled advertising. Advertisers and platforms do not pay for placement in our lists and cannot review articles before publication. If we ever use affiliate links, we will disclose them, as described in our Disclaimer.
Corrections and updates
If you spot an error, email hello@reelsmasala.com or use our contact page with the article URL. We review every report, correct confirmed mistakes promptly, and show an "Updated" date on revised articles.
